Warmer weather has arrived and I’m glad it’s here.
I’ve got breezy spring weather, breezy spring attire, and breezy blonde hair on the brain.
Just kidding, I don’t really want to be BLONDE-blonde again, I’ve just been in the mood to lighten and freshen up for the new season. Bring out natural highlights and whatnot.
So I’ve started doing chamomile tea rinses and sprays, and maybe by summer I’ll look a tad bit like a sun-kissed goddess.
I’m a fan of lemon-flavored teas and also of using things fresh from my garden. Easy, breezy “recipes” are even better. It doesn’t get any simpler or more natural than this. Pick a few leaves from your Lemon Verbena, pour a cup of boiling water over them, let steep, and voila – Lemon Verbena Tea….
Thank goodness for my flowers, otherwise I’d have very little to show for with my garden this summer. It remains mostly greenery…greenery with pops of sunshine yellows. Not much variation – still, I really do love to see my sunflowers and Black Eyed-Susans, and at least they add some more color and interest. They will…
